Acne Clear Recipe – Easy Gluten Free Ground Beef Pasta!

Ground Beef Pasta VOILA!

So on my journey to clearing my skin there were so many foods I had to avoid. And it sucked! So I needed to become very creative in how I ate my food. I am talking about no wheat, no dairy, no corn, no soy, and the number one offender (for me) was eggs! Oh how I would love me some bacon and eggs right now! >< Don’t let your food allergies bring you down…rather think of them as a blessing. Your body is giving you signals on what it likes and dislikes, and your stomach will definatly give you a feeling if something wrong went down the hatch. This recipe is fantastic for anybody with severe food allergies, trying to clear up their guts, and ultimatley feel vital, energized and have beautiful acne clear skin 🙂 So lets grab some ingredients and get started!

Ground Beef Pasta

Ingredients:

1 Pound of Organic (Or anti-biotic/hormone free) Ground Beef

2 Cellery Stalks

4 Mushrooms

1/2 A sweet pepper

1 Tablespoon of Coconut Oil

1 Cup of Organic Salsa

Salt + Pepper

Chili Seasoning

Cayenne Pepper

Step 1: Cut Vegetables

Cut up your sweet pepper into 1 inch pieces, your mushrooms into slices, and celery into half inch pieces. You can put your vegetables in individualized bowls or just throw them in one and leave them on the side! Slice up your favorite sprouted super microgreen (I used sprouted fava bean roots) and set it to the side. This will be the topper at the end 😉 You don’t have to get perfect with the measurements just make sure each vegetable is looking even when sliced!

Step 2: Cook Ground Beef

Ignite the fire baby! Set up your  your pan on a medium high heat and add a tablespoon of your favorite organic extra virgin cold pressed coconut oil! Coconut oil is super stable when cooking and you get the added brain boosting benefits associated with the saturated fats! (the good guys who deserve some respect!) After you hear some sizzling throw on one pound of ground beef. Flatten it with your wooden spoon evenly among the pan. Season with salt, pepper, cayenne, and chili seasoning to your personal preference. Cook for about 10 minutes or until brown. After the bottom is cooked turn it over with your wooden spoon so the meat can cook evenly.

Step 3: Add Vegetables

After the meat is cooked add in your vegetables and salsa. Put a lid on your frying pan and lower the heat to medium-low. The lid will help steam your vegetables and enhance the flavor of the dish. Also the nutritional quality of the vegetables will be higher from steaming rather than directly cooking them on higher heat. The more raw the vegetables the higher the nutritional quality. Make sure you are eating majority of your foods from as many raw food sources as you can! Those are the foods that will help your skin the MOST and are essential for vibrant skin, health and vitality. Keep the lid on for 15 minutes. To maximize your time it, this would be a great moment were you can cook some soaked grains (rice, quinoa, buckwheat). Go moderate with the grains and see how much you can handle. Grains can be difficult for some to digest and everybody is different. We want to optimize digestion so listen to your body!

Step 4: Serve!

Add some of pasta with a side of rice! If you cannot have grains or are eliminating them you can always use a zuchinni and a spiralizer to make perfect noodles! Zuchinni is a great raw food that is nutritionally dense and low in g.i.!
